I'm really a little sad to report that Kennedy learned a new word Friday. Boo boo is now a part of her vocabulary. This came as the result of a fall at daycare which left her with quiet a wound on her forehead. Although not even 1/2 inch long, the cut was pretty deep. We were able to avoid the ER though and get in to see the pediatrician who, through the miracle of modern medicine, glued her forehead shut. If you ask Kennedy what happened, she says "fell skoo kied doctor kied". Needless to say, it is to your advantage if you already know the details of the story before you ask her about it. Anyway, the doctor says it will leave a tiny scar that will be barely noticeable. Nonetheless, it's never easy to see a cut on the face of my little girl.
Friday was a rough day for the whole family. But GOD IS GOOD ... ALL THE TIME!

Poor gal. Glad she is ok.
We'll have to get together sometime this spring/summer...grill or something.
