-Some things are just for men and some things are just for "wemming."
-She loves the fact that there are two "kitchings" at her school where she told me she made a chocolate pie on her first day. Last week she announced she was going to be a "shelf."
-Her two favorite hymns are "The Oh No Story" and "Fire in the Blood". What cracks me up so much about this one is the reason she thinks it's "Fire" is because our southern drawls are so horrible that when we sing "Power" it actually sounds like "Fire." The two words do rhyme don't they?
-I believe that most children take for granted that everyone knows how to read. Not Kennedy. If she would like for you to read her a book, she first, very politely, asks, "Do you know how to read?" That one always tickles me because she only asks people that have never read to her. So, it's always someone very unsuspecting and the look on their face when asked is priceless.
