Today at Kennedy's school they had a school-wide "hat parade." All of the kids were supposed to bring their favorite hat to wear for the parade. Kennedy and I talked about it and she told me she didn't really want to take a hat. She preferred her tiara. I put it in her backpack and snuck in a hat as well. I explained to her that she had to get permission from Ms. Stephanie to wear the tiara because it really wasn't a hat.
Ms. Stephanie let her wear the tiara for the parade and told me she wasn't really surprised that Kennedy showed up with it. She is, afterall, a princess!
